This short story was published in ‘NZ Collection of Short Short Stories’ 1998 published by Tandem Press.

It was used as a text in New Zealand’s NCEA high school exams in 2003 along with ‘Whale Rider’ by Nicki Caro as an example of New Zealand fiction).
